Cheer Team Football Performances:
CHEER will perform at ALL CUW home FB games.
Cheer Team Basketball Performances:
The Concordia University Cheer Team cheers at most of our men's and women’s home basketball games and the Concordia Invitational (CIT).

TRYOUT INFORMATION
To be a member of the Concordia University Cheerleading Team, one must have been accepted to Concordia University, be enrolled as a full-time student, and in good academic standing.
The cheer team will consist of anywhere from 10-18 members.
Our tryouts are held before school starts. One week prior to school starting all interested cheerleaders will move onto campus for our cheer camp. During camp the cheerleaders will learn all the necessary material, jumps, stunting, and team bonding. After the camp, the team will be selected. Tumbling is optional.

MISSION STATEMENT
The members of the Concordia University Cheer Team are an outstanding group of Christian athletes who display their abilities and God given talents at every performance. Our goal is to grow, build, and have fun while creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement for our fans. Our job is to support Concordia University and all athletic programs in a Christian manner.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fundraisers:
The Concordia cheerleaders hold two cheer clinics every year as well as other fundraisers.

Cost:
Concordia University supplies every member of its team with a uniform, poms, hair bow and bag. Each cheerleader will have to provide their own shoes, personal items, and purchase warm-up set.
Volunteer:
The Concordia cheerleaders also do various volunteer opportunities throughout the season.
Practices:
Practices are held twice a week for two hours.
