2006-07
Joe Massman (25-16) placed 5th in the NCAA III Regional and led the team in wins and takedowns (54). Clayton Neske placed 3rd at 285 lbs. in the Regional, one place away from qualifying to the NCAA III National Meet.
The Falcons (3-7) placed 4th in the newly formed Northern Wrestling Association Meet, won by Lawrence University. CUW had dual wins over MSOE (21-20) and Mt. St. Joseph (39-11) at the Florida Citrus.
Dan Crowley (20-12 at 125) had a breakout season, placing 2nd at the NWA Meet and 7th at Wheaton. Anthony Myers went 11-16 at 133, and Clayton Neske finished 12-7.
As a team, the Falcons finished 8th in Regionals, 13th at Wheaton, and 3rd at the North Central Invitational. Crowley led the team with 11 pins, one shy of the CUW record. The Falcons earned NCAA III Scholar All-American Team status, placing 15th in the nation with a team GPA of 3.253.

2005-06
Senior Kevin Koch (33-9) qualified to the NCAA III National Championships in Ewing, NJ. Koch finished 2nd at the NCAA III Regional to qualify, storming through the consolations with wins over Chicago’s Andrew Bribiesco (6-2), an overtime 2-1 decision over returning All-American David Silva of Elmhurst, and a 2-1 win over Ryan McMurray of Augustana. In the true second place match. Koch rode out McMurray in the third period for the riding point and the win.

At the nationals, Koch defeated New York University’s Eugene Kobilansky, 6-2, in the opening round. Kochthen dropped a 3-2 decision to #5 Dan Song of US Merchant Marine, and a 5-4 match to #3 Mike Gaeta of Springfield (Mass.).
CUW (4-5) hosted the LMC Meet, and won a tight race by 4 points over Lakeland for the Falcons 7th title. Winning championships were: Jeff Luxner (125), Kevin Koch (141), Joe Massman (149), and Adam Shultz (197). Hunter Six (285) pinned MSOE’s an Scharf in the last match of the day to vault CUW to the title. Six was down 6-1 in the third period when he hit a head throw for the pin.
At Wheaton in February, Koch placed 3rd at 141 and Massman was 6th at 149. The Falcons placed 11th in the 28-team field. Koch won titles at the LMC Meet, the Private College Tournament, and the Indiana Little State in December. Koch finished his career 119-39, #2 on the career win list at CUW. He was voted to the NCAA III Scholar All-American Team at the national championships.

2004-05
Sam Rugg (33-12) finished a brilliant career by placing 3rd at the NCAA III Regionals, 1st at Conference, 7th at Wheaton, 1st at the Wisconsin Private Tourney, and 4th at the Concordia Open. Rugg finished #1 on the career win list with 128 victories.
Kevin Koch (28-13 at 141) also placed 3rd at Regionals and 4th at the Concordia Open. Paul Manning (197) was 4th at the Open and Jason Lawrence was 6th at the same weight. Manning suffered a season ending leg injuryat practice during the season.
The Falcons (10-6) set a record for most dual wins in a season, but finished 2nd at Conference to MSOE. Winning LMC titles were: Ramon Smith (125), Sam Rugg (149), Joe Hand (157), and Dwayne Brigham (165). Brigham finished 6th at the Regional, and finished #3 on the career win list with 92. After taking a conference title, Hand surprised the field by taking 4th at 157 at the NCAA III Regional.
At the UW-LaCrosse 2X4 in December, the Falcons defeated #22 UW-Whitewater 21-18. Gus Witte won in double OT at 285 to give CUW the win.
In December, the Falcons traveled to Las Vegas for the Desert Duals, going 1-3. CUW defeated Central College (Ia.), but dropped matches to Coe College, North Central College, and Wartburg.

2001-02
The Falcons (7-7 overall, 2-0 LMC) were led by freshman Sam Rugg (31-15 at 149 lbs.), who placed 4th in the
NCAA III Great Lakes Regional, dropping the 3rd-place match to Wheaton's Sean Collins, 12-6. Rugg captured a LMC title along with Andy Witkowski (174 lbs.). Witkowski (19-12) pinned Maranatha's Shamar Bailey in the finals for the title. The Falcons would finish 2nd in conference to MSOE by 5.5 pts.
At the Wisconsin Private College Tourney in January, Rugg won the 149 lb. title, with Nick Bottcher (22-13) taking 2nd at 133. At the Florida Citrus in Ft. Lauderdale, the team placed 13th and went 0-4 in duals.
At the Concordia Open in November, Rugg placed 5th after losing his first match of the day. He won five matches in the consolations. Over the course of the season, the Falcon had dual wins over UW-River Falls (39-15), St. Olaf (42-9), Itasca (36-12), Wheaton (36-18), Lakeland (42-3 & 41-6), and Maranatha Baptist (38-9).

2000-01
The CUW wrestling team (4-8 overall, 2-0 LMC) was led by Andy Witkowski (24-16 at 174), Ben Schwoerer (21-14 at 184), and senior Jeremy Fischer (15-14 at 149). Jon Egen (17-22 at 165) and Travis Schuett (12-13 at 141) also contributed as the Falcons placed 2nd at conference.
Winning LMC titles were Brian Utke (125) and Randy Gonsalves (157). Taking 2nd at conference: Travis Schuett (141), Jeremy Fischer (149), Jon Egen (165), Andy Witkowski (174), and Ben Schwoerer (184). MSOE won the title by 3.5 points over CUW.
At the Elmhurst Invite in January, the Falcons placed 7th/13 teams, with placers Brian Utke (6th), Jeremy Fischer (5th), Jon Egen (5th), Andy Witkowski (5th), and Ben Schwoerer (3rd). Schwoerer defeated Augustana's Joe Broquard 2-1 in the third-place match.
At the North Central Invite on Jan. 12-13, Ben Schwoerer won the 184 title, defeating Wheaton's James Hirt, 4-2, in the finals. Randy Gonsalves placed 6th at 157 as the team placed 11th/19 teams. The CUW season-win record holder is Ben Schwoerer (28) and career win honors belong to Chuck Radcliff (77).
